Statement of Purpose
HLSA defies the traditional categories—some would say barriers—that define most law school organizations.

We are an inclusive organization: our membership is not restricted to students of Hispanic descent; it is open to anyone that supports the goals set out in our Statement of Purpose (below).  We are foremost an academic organization, but we
also host a number of social events throughout the semester in the interest of promoting fraternity throughout the law school.

We invite you to explore this page, which describes the unique station HLSA occupies among the student organizations of the Texas Tech University School of Law, and consider becoming a member.
