2008 Write-On Competition

Interested in becoming a member of the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal? 

All 1Ls are invited to an informational session on April 7, 2008 (mandatory attendance required to enter the write-on competition). During the meeting, the ALJ Executive Board will cover general information regarding ALJ and will give specific instructions and procedures for the competition.

Upcoming Events:
Informational Session (mandatory): Monday, April 7, Room 109, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

ALJ Open House (meet & greet):   Wednesday, April 7, Forum, 7:00-9:00 p.m., Food will be provided.

Bluebook Workshop (optional):       Monday, April 14, Room 109, 5:00 p.m.

Write-on Packets Available for Pick-up:    Thursday, May 8, Donna's office (on the 3rd floor of the library), 9:00 a.m.

Write-on Packets Due to Donna:    Thursday, May 22, 5:00 p.m.

Offers Extended:  July 14-July 28 
 

**Required for the write-on competition**
For the write-on competition, students will need to have the most recent editions of the Bluebook, Greenbook, and Manual on Usage and Style (MoUS).  It will be helpful to bring them if you plan to attend the Bluebook Workshop, as ALJ will go over how to use all three booksAll of the books are available at Varsity Bookstore and through online vendors.
